After a night of instability, I relapsed into self harm. I think the sight of blood is quite beautiful and wanted to use this moment to create something. I took photos of the carnage and left them for a while. On a whim, I decided to turn them into infinitely repeatable patterns.

This Project consists of 50 photographs with iterations of the patterns created out of textiles.
These images were part of a larger exploration of the intersection of materials and their harmful potential.
The photographs display harm but are not themselves capable of harm, their textile counterparts do not display harm, but are themselves capable of harm.
